FAQ
Notarization API for AI agents

Proof, not promises. Independent, tamper-proof receipts for every AI agent action.

Your agents act. We give each action a cryptographically signed, independently timestamped receipt that no one — not you, not us, not your AI vendor — can alter or backdate. The audit trail your compliance team can hand to a regulator.

Self-attested logs prove nothing

AI agents are making decisions that used to require humans — payments, approvals, records. Regulators are catching up: the EU AI Act requires tamper-proof, automatic record-keeping for high-risk AI systems, with fines up to €15M or 3% of global turnover.

Here's the uncomfortable part: logs your platform writes about itself are just claims. When a regulator, a customer, or a court asks “prove this is what the agent did, and when” — self-attested logs don't answer the question.

An AI platform cannot be its own auditor. An independent third party can.

How it works

1

Record

One API call after each agent action. We never see your data — only a fingerprint (hash) computed on your side.

2

Seal

Within the hour, your receipt is anchored in a public, append-only timestamping infrastructure that even we cannot rewrite.

3

Prove

Anyone can verify any receipt independently — with our open-source verifier, without trusting us, even if we disappear.

What a receipt proves — and what it doesn't

We'd rather tell you exactly what the proof covers than oversell it. Your auditors will appreciate the difference.

Who it's for

Agent platforms selling to banks, insurers, healthcare

Turn compliance due diligence from a deal-blocker into a selling point: “every action independently notarized — verify it yourself.”

Compliance & risk teams deploying agents

Meet EU AI Act record-keeping duties with proof, not promises — independent evidence your internal audit and your regulator can check without trusting anyone's word.

Questions compliance teams ask us

Is this blockchain?

Under the hood, receipts are anchored to Bitcoin — the oldest, most neutral public timestamping infrastructure — via the OpenTimestamps standard. No tokens, no crypto exposure, nothing of your data on-chain: only an anonymous fingerprint. You never touch any of it; you call an API.

What about GDPR?

Zero-content by design. Hashes are computed on your side; each record is individually salted; erasure fully unlinks it. No personal data ever leaves your infrastructure, let alone reaches a public ledger.

Does it have legal value in the EU?

Receipts are independently verifiable evidence today. Qualified timestamps — with automatic legal effect across the EU under eIDAS — are available through our qualified trust service provider partner.

What happens if you shut down?

Every receipt is self-contained: it carries its own inclusion proof and anchor reference, and verifies against public infrastructure with open-source tooling. Your evidence outlives us — that's the point of independence.

How hard is the integration?

One REST call after each agent action, from any language. Typical integration is an afternoon, not a sprint. SDKs and a sandbox are part of early access.
